MY STORY
I have over 30 years of experience.
I have a doctorate in couple counselling and a Masters degree in counselling.
I began my career in 1980 as a Residential Social Worker, working with teenagers. I have worked as a Social Worker, Senior Social Worker, Community Social Worker, Trainer, Family Therapist and couple and individual counsellor.
I have presented at several universities and presented my work at conferences. I have had my work published in a social work text and a counselling text.
I am a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.

INDIVIDUAL & COUPLE COUNSELLING
In my approach we work together to come up with solutions that suit you.
There is nothing that you can say that would make me think less of you, take sides, or think that you or any one else is the problem. Together we identify situations, ideas and ways of doing things that are contributing to problems, and then we experiment with things that will work better for you.
CLINICAL SUPERVISION
I take a Narrative Therapy approach to supervision. My role is to help you to attend to your own hard-won knowledge and to develop your preferred ways of working and to provide support when you are faced with ethical dilemmas.
TRAINING
I provide training in Narrative Therapy and deconstruction. I can tailor workshops to meet your organisation's needs.
